Scope of Supply

Ball Valves
A Ball Valve is a stop valve in which the closing member, the movable part to block the flow, is a spherical ball. Sometimes, the ball may be floating or mounted on trunnion support based on sizes and pressures. Spring-loaded.
Design Features:
Regular Port, Full Bore, 2-piece or 3-piece design. Seats can be of PTFE NYLON, CARBON GRAPHITE etc. suitable for operating conditions. Ball components have a precise finish enabling a high number of valve operation cycle. Continuity between body and ball, ball and stem is provided by an antistatic device. The stem anti blow out design, is mechanically separated with the ball. In case of deterioration of the soft seat due to a prolonged exposure to a fire, a metal to metal contact, between seat and ball will restore the sealing to stop the flow of fluid.
Applications:
Petroleum, Power Generation, Chemicals, Fertilizers & Natural Gas / Fuel Oil Control
Operators:
Lever Operated. : Gear, Electrical Actuator, Pneumatic / Hydraulic Actuator.
Special Features:
Fire safe, Jacketed, Extended Stem.

Gate Valves
Design Features:
A Gate Valve, is a valve that opens by lifting a round or rectangular gate/wedge out of the path of the fluid. Designed for high pressure and high temperature applications, for a wide range of fluids except slurries and viscous fluids. These valves are generally used in the wide open or closed position, are not recommended for throttling service because throttling causes disc chattering and vibration which is likely to erode the seating surface and cause leakage.
Applications:
Petroleum, Power Generation, Chemicals, Fertilizer, Steel industry, Isolation Drain, Shut-Off Valves, Feed Water and Steam.
Operators:
Handwheel, Chainwheel, Gear Electrical Actuator, Pneumatic/Hydraulic, Actuator Operated.
Special Features:
Pressure Sealed joints/ Double Block and Bleed/ Cryogenic Service to BS 6364/ Nace Specifications (MR-01-75), Position Indicator, Drainplug & Bypass Arrangement.

Dual Plate Check Valves
Design Features:
The Dual Plate Check Valve is a multi-purpose valve that is stronger, lighter and smaller compared to conventional swing check or lift check valves. Separate springs are provided for each door to close. This reduces and overcomes the frictional coefficient due to one plate resting upon another. The spring life cycle is studied and the dynamic behaviour of the valve is recorded. This type of valve prevents flow reversal, functions silently and totally prevents “Water Hammer”. It’s generally light weight, and can be mounted in any direction (Horizontal/Vertical). Also, it has a high CV value and less pressure drop. It’s designed for non-slamming action that prevents premature valve failure, and the valve functions silently for longer duration.
Applications:
Chemicals, Fertilizers, Refineries, Effluent Treatment Plant.
Operators:
Automatic Spring return.
Special Features:
Rubber Lined, Soft Seated.

Swing Check Valves
A Swing Check Valve or tilting disc check valve is check valve in which the disc, the movable part to block the flow, swings on a hinge or trunnion, either onto the seat to block reverse flow, or off the seat to allow forward flow.
Design Features:
The body is designed for strength to meet operating conditions, and contoured to minimize erosion and resistance to flow. The disc is opened and sustained in open position by the Velocity pressure of the fluid and closed by the force of gravity. Seating load and resultant tightness is aided by back pressure in the line. The body seat-ring is seal-welded to the body avoiding leakage in the path between the seat ring and the body. The seating surfaces are ground and lapped.
Applications:
Chemicals, Fertilizers, Feed Water, Petroleum, Power Generation, Steel Industries and Effluent Treatment Plants.
Operators:
Automatic/Hydraulic Damper/Counter Weights.
